What the database shows:
TotalKills GunBow: Total deer kills that gun and bow-hunters reported to DNR
Total licenses: Total of the licensed gun and bow hunters (some hunters may hold licenses in both categories)
Gun TotalKill: Number of deer taken by gun in selected year.
Gun kills per license: The number of deer taken by gun divided by the number of licensed gun hunters. This ratio enables comparisons between years when the number of licensed hunters has changed.
Bow TotalKill: Number of deer taken by bowhunters.
Bow kills per license: The ratio of deer taken by bow to the number of licensed bowhunters.
