Hundreds of spawning sturgeon were reported Saturday across the entire river below the dam, according to Ron Bruch, a sturgeon expert for the state Department of Natural Resources.
Bruch said for interested observers, the second run, triggered by water temperatures topping 50 degrees, could last a couple of days or more.
