As a child one of the first things that I can still remember vividly, was the pure excitement that I felt anytime I had a fishing pole in my hand! I will never forget waking up before the sunrise with heavy, tired eyes and wondering to myself,

"Why Grandpa, do we have to get up so dang early?" Not fully understanding that only a fool would head out any later. I remember plunking in the worm and bobber, just waiting for the bobber to dip under the water as the gills did their best to snatch up the crawler. These are the memories that made me who I am today, Trout MaGee - a husband to a beautiful wife and a father to three awesome children; an avid fly fisherman doing my best to capture Wisconsins nature at it's finest with my camera. I make sure that my kids get to enjoy Wisconsin's outdoors, just like I have been able to. The pure joy of walking along a trout stream and teaching my kids the ins and outs of fly fishing is unbeatable. When I see them reach into their own fly box and choose a fly that they tied up themselves a huge smile forms on my face. In this out of control, tech-crazy world, nothing is better for a child's soul than introducing them to the outdoors! So get out their and go exploring.
