What a weekend for monster Brown Trout in Wisconsin's Lake Michigan harbors. It was a weekend to catch good numbers of fish ... and some BIG ones!
Matt Folz of Elkhorn, Nate Koss of Mosinee, and Andy Schutz of McFarland caught these world class browns while fishing the harbors in the southeastern corner of the state. Each of the fish were caught on spawn sacks in and around the marinas.
Ice fishing for these monster browns should last a few more weeks and will be followed by the spring Steelhead run. Please use caution whenever you're on the ice in the harbors as strong winds can break up relatively thick ice in a hurry!
