The sturgeon harvest on Lake Winnebago picked up slightly Thursday with 14 fish being speared.
Two fish larger than 100 pounds were registered. The biggest was a 73.7-inch, 102.1-pounder taken by Kyle Boelter and registered at Jerry’s Bar.
Lake Winnebago: Thursday’s total — 14 (2 juvenile females, 6 adult females, 6 males). Season total — 260 (28 juvenile females, 110 adult females, 122 males). No. of fish short of hitting 90 percent harvest cap — 260 juvenile females, 561 adult females, 742 males).
