Look at these beautiful spring blooms I found! Oh wait, that was in 2009.

I think we all go spoiled last year with an early spring. I was canoeing by the first week of March last year! And wearing a t-shirt! But this year is obviously a little different.

I don't think I am alone in this, but is anyone else going a little stir-crazy? I mean, I feel like I really did enjoy the snow this year. I got out on my fat bike a lot, winter camped and even cross-country skied a few times. I don't need these few extra weeks of winter to squeeze in another winter adventure. What I need is 50 degrees and the sun so I can road bike and run outside. What I really need is to be able to take a walk in the woods and have my boots covered in mud, not snow.

Since I can't rely on the weather to motivate me, I may have to just motivate myself to get outside and run and ride my road bike. Which, honestly, finding that motivation has been pretty tough lately. But you gotta start somewhere and today (or maybe tomorrow) is as good a place as any!
