Coon Valley held their annual festival "Coon Creek Trout Fest" this past weekend and again the event was a huge success.
An estimated 500 people came to the event to browse local goodies, see wildlife booths, to participate in fly casting and fly tying lessons and visit various local vendors.
There was also a youth fishing derby held for kids that wanted to learn how to catch trout and for a chance to win various prizes.
Some members of the group KAMO (Kids Adult Mentor Outdoors) were on site with their youth to offer one-on-one fishing lessons as well.
