Itís not over until itís over, and itís over ó almost. All that separates the more than 150 prizewinners from cashing in on the 31st annual Kewaunee/Door County Salmon Tournament is today's wrap-up meeting.
On the final day, Baileys Harbor weighed a dozen fish larger than 20 pounds, Sturgeon Bay 11, Kewaunee 10, Algoma six and Washington Island three. Those 42 fish pushed the grand total to 404 ď20s,Ē nearly 29 times more than the 14 20-pound-plus ďkingsĒ weighed in the 2012 event.
Only one fish, Andy Poharís 26.35-pounder at Sturgeon Bay, moved into the unofficial top 25 Sunday. The official winnerís list will be announced sometime Tuesday.
