Dan Braun of Baraboo hit the streams on Saturday's opening morning with the winds howling and the temps around zero.

It was not a quantity day but he did score his second biggest brown to date on a sweet specialty fly he tied.

The bronze colored brown measure 18 inches even. Dan stopped for the day after catching the colorful male brown in Richland County.
