ONALASKA — The seventh annual Three Rivers Roleo log rolling tournament will be held on Saturday August 9 at the Great River Landing in Onalaska. The tournament is a partnership with the Onalaska Enhancement Foundation and Onalaska Park & Recreation. The tournament is Sanctioned by the US Log Rolling Association.

Three Rivers Roleo, a level 2 tournament, is the second highest ranked tournament in the midwest for professional rollers. For the first time at this tournament, professionals will be competing in spikes on Western Red Cedar logs. Spike shoes were traditionally used for traction and provide for action packed rolling as competitors can grip the log well and fight with every step to stay on. This is made possible thanks to the support of our sponsors Kwik Trip and The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern our platinum sponsors, STIHL a gold sponsor and Fowler & Hammer and Onalaska Tourism a bronze sponsor.

The amateur division will begin at 10 a.m., with the professional division to begin about 2:15 p.m. Admission for spectators is free. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Concessions will be available on site. Parking for the event is available in the bicycle trail parking lot along Highway 35 in Onalaska; then head down the hill on Irvin Street toward the river for the competition.
