TOMAHAWK — Pete Skibba and Shawn Kruzitski will try to put together a big limit of bass to win for the third year in a row at the Wisconsin River Series event on Lake Nokomis to be held on Saturday, June 28.

Pete and Shawn also won at Nokomis in the Series in 2012 and 2013. The pair put together winning bags of fish each of the past two years.

44 other teams will have something to say about the duo winning again. "Expect some great catches and many full limits," said tournament director Mike Hofmann, "Lake Nokomis is famous for its outstanding fishery."

Working closely with the Tomahawk Chamber of Commerce the Wisconsin River Series presented by Minn kota and Humminbird has committed to qualifiers on Lake Nokomis and Lake Mohawksin for the next two years and will hold its championship on Lake Mohawksin in 2014 and 2015.

This Saturday’s weigh-in will be held at 3 p.m. at the landing off Highway Y in the Town of Bradley. Expect crowded parking conditions, but if you come out you will for sure see some big fish weighed-in. All fish are released back into the lake.
