Beginning June 26, enjoy an all-new digital experience for on your desktop or laptop computer.

Here’s a look at what’s new and improved:

1. Better design

We think you’ll love the cleaner visual display of photos, videos and articles.

2. Easy site navigation and search

Quickly click through to the next section or article using the left or right arrows on each page. Looking for something more specific? Use the improved search bar at the top of the page to find information fast.

3. Improved, real-time weather

A newly designed robust weather page features extended forecasts, severe weather alerts and interactive maps.

4. Bigger, better photo galleries

Look for the camera icon at the top of the navigation. Here you will see all of our photo galleries and videos in a full-screen view. It’s now easier to scroll through gallery images.

5. The Right Now rail

The Right Now rail on the right side of each section front will display the latest content: stories, blogs, photos and videos from the section you’re viewing.

6. Simple sharing of your favorites on social media

Our social media buttons “stick” with you while scrolling through an article to make it easier for you to share your favorite stories.

7. More engaging article pages

Get more from articles with easy-to-find sharing tools, embedded photos, galleries, videos and interactive content.

8. Quick links take you to the content you love

Quick links to your favorite content are displayed in a ribbon on the left side of each page to help you easily find the content you want.

9. Integrated commenting

We know you love to tell us what you think. Now, you don’t have to leave an article to post and read comments. Click the comment icon next to the social media icons and share your thoughts via Facebook.

10. Enhanced mobile sites

Download an app from one of our markets and enjoy on your iPhone or iPad. And the site will look better and navigate more easily on a new mobile design.

Tomorrow you'll be able to explore the new and share your feedback.

Let us know what you think of the design by contacting site manager Brian Otten at
