Lakeside Park, located at the south end of Lake Winnebago in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin features flower displays, boating of all kinds, picnic areas, playgrounds and more.
Between fishing, picnicking, walking, and boating, a full day of enjoyment is a guarantee at this 400-acre park, located on the south shore of Lake Winnebago. There are carousel and train rides for children and a petting zoo in the summer. The whole family can enjoy the many walking paths, covered bridges, and the lighthouse. Oven Island offers a number of sporting and activity events.
Lakeside Park also hosts many premier community events. Fourth of July fireworks, Walleye Weekend and Art on the Island are just a few of the fun things to do throughout the year.
For those who prefer aquatic fun, paddleboats and canoes are available for rental, and for the visiting boater, public launch points are provided. Afterwards, be sure to hit up Salty’s, a local seafood restaurant not far from the park entrance.
