The Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc is home to a vast collection of artifacts and historic information about the state's nautical ties. Visitors can walk through numerous exhibits including an old-fashioned ship building town and see a 100-year-old steam ship engine come to life.
Included with admission is a tour of the U.S.S. Cobia, which is touted to be the most intact World War II submarine in the country.
