The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a thousand-mile footpath that highlights glacial landscape features. The Trail is entirely within the state of Wisconsin and is largely built and maintained by volunteers.
There is no fee to use the trail which is open year-round. Hikers should observe all signs, which may alert them to trail closures during deer hunting season.
Dogs are allowed on the Trail and owners are encouraged to keep dogs that like to range on a leash.
