The Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum is dedicated to the preservation, study, production and printing of wood type. The museum has 1.5 million pieces of wood type in more than 1,000 styles and sizes.
Admission is free, with donations accepted. The museum's winter hours (through April 30th) are Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment.
Self-guided tours are available during business hours. Guided tours of the museum are provided on the hour, from 1 to 4 p.m. If you are interested in scheduling a group tour or want to verify that tours will be given, please call 920-794-6272 or contact the museum at info@woodtype.org.
