The Oshkosh Public Museum features exhibits detailing the heritage of Oshkosh and the Lake Winnebago Region of Wisconsin. Traveling exhibitions and events are also held at the Museum each year.
The Museum includes the historic Sawyer family home, an English Tudor Revival residence built in 1908 for lumber baron and banker, Edgar P. Sawyer, and his family. This portion of the Museum includes a rich interior designed by Tiffany Studios of New York. The Apostles Clock is also a highlight as it strikes the hour.
