Blogger Todd Wendorf finds the summer bass bite slow
With lake temps still in the mid to upper 50's on most lakes the largemouth bass bite has been slowed as females have not yet begun to bed in many lakes in south central Wisconsin. I've been able to pick up a few decent fish and have had some friends catch them while fishing muskies but most of the bigger fish being caught are out in 4-10' of water.
